HDS Federal brings aboard 14-year vet as sales VP

Hitachi Data Systems Federal hires 14-year industry veteran Amy Miller Feehery vice president of sales one month after the data services contractor announced its new CEO.

Data and analytics services provider Hitachi Data Systems Federal has appointed 14-year defense industry veteran Amy Miller Feehery as vice president of sales.

She joins HDS Federal approximately one month after the Reston, Va.-headquartered company appointed two-decade industry veteran David Turner as its president and CEO. Feehery will report directly to Turner in her new role.

Feehery more recently held the role of principal director for strategic growth and business development at engineering and technical services contractor STS International. Her career also includes leadership positions at Harris Corp., CACI International and the former Exelis.

Reston, Va.-headquartered HDS Federal is a subsidiary of global digital services company Hitachi Data Systems. HDS is an arm of the Tokyo-based global Hitachi conglomerate.
