CEI books potential $45M DTRA support contract

Chimera Enterprises International will provide non-personal and technical services to DTRA under a potential five-year, $45 million small business set-aside contract.
Chimera Enterprise International has won a potential five-year, $45 million contract for non-personal and technical services to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
DTRA awarded the contract as a small business set-aside and received six offers. CEI is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business that provides professional services to federal agencies.
The company's advisory and assistance services will aim to support DTRA's Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Preparedness and CBRN Military Advisory Teams Support programs.
CP2 is an agency effort to help the U.S.' partner countries prepare for, respond to and mitigate impacts of an event involving weapons of mass destruction. DTRA started the CMAT teams to work with the Defense Department and other federal agencies during all phases of WMD-involved accidents or incidents of deliberate use.
CEI's overall tasks under the contract include work to research, plan, design, develop, implement, integraw, apply and develop transitioning capabilities for WMD defense to DTRA and its customers.
