Agile Defense captures $23.4M Navy software pact

Agile Defense will support the Navy's use of the BMC Remedy Enterprise System, a workflow management software suite.
Agile Defense Inc. has won a five-year $23.4 million contract to support the Navy’s use of BMC Remedy Enterprise System, a workflow management software suite.
Reston, Va.-based Agile will perform software and system engineering, design, development, integration, testing and life-cycle support services. The company will support the BMC Remedy Enterprise System and offer infrastructure, enabling technologies and related training to the Defense Department.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific in San Diego is running the small business set-aside contract. SSC Pacific received four proposals counting Agile Defense. The contract runs through April 4, 2022.
Funds for task orders under the contract will be drawn from operation and maintenance, research, development, testing and evaluation, and other procurement funds from the Navy and Marine Corps.
Agile Defense is a small business headquartered in Reston, Va. It lists its core capabilities as C4ISR, cybersecurity, cloud computing services and enterprise infrastructure. Some of its major contract vehicles include GSA OASIS, Navy Seaport-e, GSA Alliant and GSA IT Schedule 70.
