Vectrus awarded $88.8M option to continue info management, IT enterprise services

Vectrus Systems Corp. has been awarded an $88.8 million option to continue its support of the Army Corps of Engineers.

Vectrus Systems Corp. has been awarded an $88.8 million option to continue its support of the Army Corps of Engineers.

This option is the second out of four contract options, and according to Deltek, and brings the total spending to date to $252 million. The ceiling on the contract is $489.8 million.

Under the contract, Vectrus will provide information management and IT enterprise services.

Work will be performed in Vicksburg, Miss., and is expected to be completed in January 2018.

In 2014, Vectrus was spun out of Exelis. This original contract was awarded on Aug. 15, 2014, just a month before the spinoff. The company is a provider of facility and logistics services and IT and network communication services.
