SGT Inc. nabs $45M contract to support NOAA meteorological data program

SGT Inc. has won a $45 million contract to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

SGT Inc. has won a $45 million contract to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Under the contract, SGT will support the National Mesonet Program, which brings non-federal meteorological data sources to NOAA for use in operations at weather forecast offices and numerical modeling at the National Centers for Environmental Protection.

Under the contract, SGT will be teaming with Earth Networks, Weather Telematics, WeatherFlow, Synoptic Data Corp., Sonoma Technology Inc., Panasonic Avionics Corp., and the University of Oklahoma.
