2016's top 20 contract awards

We've compiled the 20 largest contract awards from 2016 and they range from $700 million to $25 billion. Who won the biggest prizes of the year?

For more contract awards, see our WT Insider-exclusive , featuring every award we have covered since January 2013.

We saw slightly fewer contract awards during 2016 than 2015 with the total number of contracts we covered dropping 26, from 589 to 563.

We've gathered the 20 largest contracts from 2016 in this roundup.

As one might expect, most of these contracts are huge multiple-award contracts, but eight lucky companies secured single award contracts large enough to make the list. The smallest contract was worth $700 million and was won by one company. The largest was worth $25 billion and had 81 winners.

Only four months in 2016 – May, June, July, and September – saw more contract awards when compared to the same months the previous year.
