UES Inc. nabs $42M contract to optimize nanoelectronic materials

UES Inc. has won a $42 million contract to optimize nanoelectronic materials for the Air Force.

UES Inc. has won a $42 million contract to optimize nanoelectronic materials for the Air Force.

The contract will also have UES providing research and development on a range of materials for magnetic, electronic and electro-optical materials applications that will lead to improved nanomaterials and improved devices for digital, radio, radar, infrared and secure communication applications, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be completed in September 2022.

Nine companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said.
