Seventeen companies have won spots on a $248.8 million contract to support the Army’s Program Executive Office for Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors.

The Program Executive Office for Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors develops and refines an array of electronic warfare technologies and advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors to improve situational awareness, force protection and reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition.

Under the contract, the winners will provide broad technical, program, operations, acquisition and business support services, the Defense Department said in a release.
