Insitu nabs $9.9M ISR contract

Insitu Inc. has won a $9.9 million contract modification to continue its Navy intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support.

Insitu Inc. has won a $9.9 million contract modification to continue its Navy intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support.

Under the contract, Insitu will provide the ISR using unmanned vehicle capabilities, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work is expected to be completed in September 2019.

Insitu is a subsidiary of Boeing. Boeing acquired the company in 2008 to bolster its unmanned vehicle capabilities. The two had been working together since 2002.
