21 companies to provide COTS C2 equipment, services under $750M contract

Twenty-one companies have won spots on a $750 million contract to provide the Navy with commercial-off-the-shelf command and control equipment and support services.

Twenty-one companies have won spots on a $750 million contract to provide the Navy with commercial-off-the-shelf command and control equipment and support services.

Of the 21 companies, 17 are small businesses.

The winners are:

  • CounterTrade Products Inc.
  • FCN Inc.
  • Global Technology Resources Inc.
  • iGov Technologies Inc.
  • M2 Technology Inc.
  • Marshall Communications Inc.
  • MicroTechnologies LLC.
  • NCS Technologies Inc.
  • New Tech Solutions Inc.
  • Presidio Networked Solutions Inc.
  • Red River Computer Co. Inc.
  • SAIC
  • Scientific Research Corp.
  • Sterling Computers Corp.
  • Unistar-Sparco Computers Inc.
  • Walker & Associates Inc.

While the contract supports the Navy the most, it will also provide for other defense and civilian agencies as needed, the Defense Department said in a release.

The command and control equipment will include video systems, imagery systems, global positioning system equipment, intelligence support systems, intercom systems, tactical displays, tactical processors, tactical workstations.

Work will be performed worldwide and is expected to wrap up in June 2021.

Twenty-eight companies bid on the contract, leaving seven companies without awards.

The contract was awarded by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C.
