Palantir wins $222M contract to provide software licenses to SOCOM

Palantir Technologies Inc. has won a $222 million contract to support the U.S. Special Operations Command.

Palantir Technologies Inc. has won a $222 million sole source contract to support the Special Operations Command.

Under the contract, Palantir will provide All Source Information Fusion software licenses and offer associated support services to the Special Operation Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, the Defense Department said in a release.

Palantir will receive $5 million for maintenance funding at the time of the contract award and supplemental funding as it becomes available.

Work will be performed throughout the base year period and three option years.
