Boeing wins $16.2M contact to support signal technologies

Boeing has won a $16.2 million contract to support the Air Force’s On-Orbit Reprogrammable Digital Waveform Generator Program.

Boeing has won a $16.2 million contract to support the Air Force’s On-Orbit Reprogrammable Digital Waveform Generator Program.

Under the contract, Boeing will work to advance the capabilities in signal generation. This will include the global positioning system and other commercial and non-commercial position navigation and timing efforts, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Huntington Beach, Calif., and is expected to be completed in January 2021.

Nine companies bid on this contract, which was contracted out by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
