The General Services Administration is seeing success with its recent FASt Lane process, meant to fast-track the admission process for the agency’s IT Schedule 70 contract, according to FCW.

Forty-four companies made it through the trial that GSA held for the FASt Lane program.

GSA was able to reduce the processing time from an average of 110 days to 29 days, with 35 percent of the awards completed in less than 20 days, FCW reported.

The new FASt Lane process will make for fewer obstacles for small companies and innovative companies so that they can better serve the federal market.
