Who won February's biggest contracts?
The second month of 2016 saw a good number of awards being made, but the overall value dropped from January.
The second month of 2016 saw a number of awards being made, albeit of a much lower value than normal.
Washington Technology reported on 40 contract awards in February.
February’s 40 is greater than February 2015’s 33 awards. You can track the month to month contract awards we've published in the chart below.

To make the list in February, you had to have a contract with a value greater than $46.7 million. Last month, the threshold was $99 million, and in December 2015, that value was $247 million. In fact, it isn't until we get to the No. 3 spot the contract value breaks the $100 million market.
This month also has a tie for No. 9 on the Top 10 list.
February was also a great month for ManTech International, who captured two of the top 10 spots.

10. GDIT nabs $46.7M security, program management contract with Navy
General Dynamics Information Technology has won a $46.7 million contract to provide the Navy with security cooperation, security assistance, foreign military sales technical, and program/project management support services.
9. Serco wins $47M contract to support Navy Fleet Logistics Center
Serco has won a $47 million contract to support the Navy Fleet Logistics Center with hazardous materials inventory management contract.
9. ManTech wins $47M task order to support Navy subs
ManTech International has won a $47 million task order to provide engineering and technical support services for the Navy’s submarine and surface ship acoustical trials.
8. Army tabs SRC for $49.2M counter-IED research effort
The Army has picked SRC Inc. for a $49.2 million contract to research new capabilities for a system that jams the radio signals used to trigger improvised explosive devices.
7. X Corp Solutions to support DTRA under $50M counterintelligence contract
X Corp Solutions Inc. has won a $50 million contract to provide the Defense Threat Reduction Agency with security and counterintelligence operations support services.
6. Sevatec wins $65M task order to provide agile app development to USCIS
Sevatec has won a $65 million task order to support the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.
5. ManTech wins $71M advisory, assistance contract
ManTech International has won a $71 million task order to support the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO).
4. Lockheed to continue support of GPS under $96M contract mod
Lockheed Martin has won a $96 million contract modification to support the Global Positioning System.

ManTech International has won a $175 million contract to support the Saudi Arabian Air Force.
