Navy awards four companies technical services contracts

Four companies have won contracts to provide the Navy with a suite of technical support.

Four companies have won contracts to provide the Navy with a suite of technical support.

The winners are:

  • Science Applications International Corp. - $45 million (base value: $26.7 million)
  • G2 Software Systems Inc. - $41.6 million (base value: $24.5 million)
  • Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services - $36.2 million (base value: $21.4 million)
  • Booz Allen Hamilton - $32.5 million (base value: $19.2 million)

Under the contracts, the companies will provide technical support in the areas of project management, system engineering, research, test and evaluation, logistics, integration, technical troubleshooting, installation, and security, the Defense Department said in a release.

Each contract has a one-year base period and two one-year options.

Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed Feb. 28, 2019.

A contract was awarded to each of the four companies who bid, the Defense Department said.
