Virtustream adds two execs to leadership team

Virtustream has added two executives to its leadership team.

John Hill is now chief operating officer. He joins the company from Veyance Technologies, where he served as global chief information officer. Hill has also held positions at Siemens IT Solutions & Services and Praxair.

Simon Walsh is now managing director, strategic markets. He was most recently senior vice president and chief operating officer for EMC EMEA. Walsh has also held positions at Colt Technology Services and Computacenter UK.

Virtustream was acquired by EMC in July 2015.
