Deal builds intelligence work for SOSi

SOS International has added significant intelligence work through the acquisition of New World Solutions.
SOS International LLC has acquired New World Solutions in a move that adds defense and intelligence customers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but SOSi is picking customers that include the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the National Ground Intelligence Center, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office and other intell agencies.
Harry Looney, president and co-founder of New World Solutions, will continue to lead the firm, which will be a subsidiary of SOSi.
The business will become part of SOSi’s intelligence group, led by Vice President Bob Billeaud.
Skills that SOSi is adding include imargery science, cyber analyhtics and advanded technology research and development.
“The New World Solutions acquisition is a critical step in the expansion of our business,” said Julian Setian, president and CEO of SOSi. “It represents our most significant strategic move yet in our 25-year history.”
