CGI appoints new chief security officer

CGI has appointed Stanley Sims to the position of chief security officer.

CGI has appointed Stanley Sims to the position of chief security officer.

In his new role, Sims will lead CGI’s security enterprise policies, practices, and programs across the full spectrum of physical and cybersecurity activity.

Sims was most recently director of the Defense Security Service, the agency responsible for securing the defense technological base and overseeing the protection of classified information residing within the Defense Department’s ecosystem of industry partners, CGI said in a release.

Before working at the Defense Security Service, Sims spent more than 30 years in the Army.
