Raytheon has won a $42.2 million option to provide design agent engineering and technical support services for Navy weapon systems.

Under the contract, Raytheon will be supporting Phalanx, SeaRAM and land-based Phalanx weapon systems.
The Phalanx Close-In Weapon System provides defense from low- and high-flying anti-ship missile threats, the Defense Department said in a release.
Under the Foreign Military Sales program, this contract combines purchases for the governments of Turkey, Australia, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, Korea, Bahrain, Pakistan and Egypt.
