The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council, or ACT-IAC, has opened up the nomination period for its 2016 Igniting Innovation Awards.
The awards recognize the best innovative uses of technology to improve government programs and services.
To be eligible for nomination, innovations must have been conceived, developed, deployed or upgraded in the last two years.
The deadline for nominations is Jan. 15, 2016. The awards will be presented in April.
