Who won November's biggest contracts?

The slowdown in contracts continues two months into the new fiscal year, but there are still some big contracts hitting the streets. Who won the biggest ones?

Two months into the new fiscal year, and the slowdown continues.

Washington Technology covered 46 contract awards in November, compared to a moderately larger 49 awards in October.

Both months follow to the forever active September, which saw 71 awards making headlines on our site.

However, this month’s 46 awards beats November 2014’s 31 awards, picking back up the trend of 2015 outpacing contract awards from the year before. Except for October, which had 49 awards compared to 54 for October 2014, July, August, September and now November have all surpassed their 2014 counterparts.

The general size of contracts was down this month, however. To make the list in November, you had to have a contract with a value greater than $98.8 million, compared to the minimum value of $211 million last month.

Northrop Grumman had an especially good month, grabbing sole possession of two of the top 10 spots.
