M1 Support Services wins $305M O&M contract for aircraft support

M1 Support Services has won a $305 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services at Nellis Air Force Base.

M1 Support Services has won a $305 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services at Nellis Air Force Base.

The contract provides for Nellis aircraft maintenance backshop operations and maintenance, the Defense Department said.

M1 will be providing the operations and maintenance in support of the following aircraft:

  • A-10
  • F-15
  • F-16
  • F/A-22
  • F-35

The company will also support aircraft that are stationed at Nellis but assigned somewhere else, including 15 HH-60 helicopters assigned to the 23rd Wing at Moody Air Force Base and 11 F-16 aircraft assigned to the Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron, also known as the Thunderbirds.

Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2020.
