Boeing has won a $134 million Air Force contract to sustain the E-4B fleet.

Boeing has won a $134 million Air Force contract to sustain the E-4B fleet.

To sustain the strategic command and control military aircraft, Boeing will provide program management, supply chain management, field service representatives, aircraft depot maintenance, and engine maintenance and overhauls, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Oklahoma City, Okla., and San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed in December 2016.

This contract was sole sourced to Boeing.
