Air Force adds large biz winners to $5B cyber contract

The Air Force has added ten large businesses to the winning pool of a $5 billion cybersecurity and information systems contract first named in October 2015.

The large business winners are:

  • Alion Science and Technology
  • Battelle Memorial Institute
  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Exelis Information Systems
  • Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp.
  • MacAulay-Brown
  • ManTech Advanced Systems International
  • Northrop Grumman Systems Information Sector
  • TASC Inc.
  • Wyle Laboratories

They join seven small businesses:

  • Barbaricum LLC
  • BRTRC Federal Solutions
  • Data Systems Analysts
  • Professional Project Services
  • Oak Ridge
  • SMS Data Products Group
  • Solers Inc.

The contract calls for research, development, test and evaluation efforts for technical area tasks within the software analysis, information assurance, knowledge management and information sharing, and modeling and simulation focus areas, the Defense Department said.

Fourteen small businesses and eleven large businesses bid on this contract, leaving eight companies on the outside.
