Leidos wins second phase of radar research project

Leidos has won a $14 million contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to provide research and development.
Leidos’ research and development will be in support of the Shared Spectrum Access for Radar and Communications program, which seeks to improve radar and communications capabilities through spectrum sharing.
This particular contract supports phase two, which has Leidos performing laboratory testing and a field demonstration to validate the technology using real-time software with physical radar and communications systems, the company said in a release.
