SAIC awarded $757M task order to continue support of Army missile group

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $757 million task order to continue its support of the Army’s Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $757 million task order to continue its support of the Army’s Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate.

The task order was awarded under the Expedited Professional & Engineering Support Services blanket purchase agreement.

AMRDEC provides and sustains world-class aviation and missile systems to the joint warfighter, supporting national security and defense strategies today and in the future, SAIC said in a release.

Under the task order, the company will perform life cycle systems and software engineering support to ensure that the Army receives the latest technology and equipment needed for mission success.
