MorphoTrak wins $13m contract to support USCIS with fingerprint scanning

MorphoTrak was awarded a $13.6 million contract from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service for electronic fingerprint equipment and its installation.

MorphoTrak was awarded a $13.6 million contract from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service for electronic fingerprint equipment and its installation.

MorphoTrak will provide a turn-key solution for Livescan electronic fingerprint scanning systems and include all components, peripherals, and configurations. It will also provide operations and maintenance support.

USCIS uses Livescan systems to capture and submit applicant fingerprint images to the F.B.I and the Homeland Security Department’s Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM).

MorphoTrak provides multibiometric technologies and solutions for fingerprint, iris and facial recognition.

USCIS announced the award Sept. 29.
