Logos Technologies scores $18.2M contract for surveillance system

Logos Technologies has won an $18.2 million contract to provide the Navy with spectral wide area airborne surveillance, inspection and fusion technology.

Logos Technologies has won an $18.2 million contract to provide the Navy with spectral wide area airborne surveillance, inspection and fusion technology.

Under the contract, Logos will integrate sensing capabilities into one payload that can fit onto small unmanned aerial vehicles.

The resulting payload will be able to conduct sensing and collect information to better attain accurate situational awareness, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed in March 2020.
