CACI scores $28M contract to support technologies at Army CERDEC

CACI International has won a $28 million task order to support specialized technologies for the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command.

CACI International has won a $28 million task order to support specialized technologies for the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command.

This 22-month task order was awarded under the Strategic Services Sourcing contract vehicle.

Work will support the Command’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate.

The directorate’s mission is to conduct research and development of advanced night vision and other sensor technologies like infrared weapon sights and surveillance systems, CACI said in a release.

Under the task order, the company will provide technical, engineering, and program management support for the research and development of night vision and infrared technologies.

The task order represents new work for the company, CACI said.
