IT jobs continue to rise in July

Information technology jobs have continued the trend of tepid growth from last month, according to a report from TechServe Alliance.

For the month of July, the uptick in IT-related jobs was 0.3 percent, with the number of jobs reaching 4.96 million. The past two months, jobs also grew by 0.3 percent from the previous months.

Engineering job growth also continued in July, and at the same rate it grew in June—by a little more that 0.1 percent. This growth was also at the same rate as the growth in May.
