Sabre Systems has won a $22.4 million task order to provide IT application development support services to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Office of Prices and Living Conditions.

Sabre Systems has won a $22.4 million task order to provide IT application development support services to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Office of Prices and Living Conditions.

The mission of the Bureau of Labor Statistics is to measure labor market activity, working conditions and price changes in the economy, setting out to collect, analyze and disseminate essential economic information to support public and private decision-making, according to the Labor Department website.

Under the contract, Sabre Systems will provide software architects, engineers, and developers for database and statistical application development, requirement analysis, software design, testing, documentation and ongoing production support and maintenance.

Specific divisions of the Office of Prices and Living Conditions that will benefit from Sabre’s work include:

  • Division of Consumer Price Computer Systems
  • Division of Consumer Prices and Price Indexes
  • Division of Consumer Expenditure Information Systems
