KOAM Engineering Systems wins $76.1M contract to support Norfolk shipyard

KOAM Engineering Systems has won a $76.1 million contract to support the Navy’s Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va.

KOAM Engineering Systems has won a $76.1 million contract to support the Navy’s Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va.

The contract has a base value of $15 million.

Under the contract, KOAM will provide marine design and engineering services to support the shipyard’s ship repair and conversion operations.

Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Va., San Diego, Calif., Jacksonville, Fla., Bremerton, Wash., Pascagoula, Miss., Sasebo, Japan, and Yokosuka, Japan, and is expected to be completed January 2016.
