Leidos has won a $49 million contract to provide scientific, engineering and technical services in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division.

Leidos has won a $49 million contract to provide scientific, engineering and technical services in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division.

The Carderock Division is the full-spectrum research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support organization for the Navy's ships, submarine, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide scientific, engineering, and technical services required for the design, development, fabrication, integration, test, fleet implementation, and maintenance of synthetic signature generation-based training and analysis systems utilizing the All World Environment Simulation and the Periscope Simulation visual simulation, the company said in a release.
