CGI wins $19M contract for Lousiana property recovery program

CGI Inc. has won a $19 million contract to continue providing IT services for programs managed by the State of Louisiana’s Division of Administration, Office of Technology Services, Office of Community Development/Disaster Recovery Unit.

CGI Inc. has won a $19 million contract to continue providing IT services for programs managed by the State of Louisiana’s Division of Administration, Office of Technology Services, Office of Community Development/Disaster Recovery Unit.

Among these programs is Road Home, a program that seeks to provide financial assistance to property owners. Established in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Road Home is the largest single housing recovery program in U.S. history, CGI said.

Under the contract, CGI will provide comprehensive IT governance and oversight; application development and maintenance; IT help desk and asset management; and IT infrastructure management.

CGI’s team includes Louisiana-based partners Sparkhound and Blue Streak Technologies, the company said.
