LinQuest Corp. wins $42M contract for advisory, assistance services

LinQuest Corp. has won a $42 million contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance support.

LinQuest Corp. has won a $42 million contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance support.

Under the contract, LinQuest’s advisory and assistance services will support the Los Angeles Air Force Base’s Space Superiority Directorate’s Advanced Systems and Space Situational Awareness divisions, the Defense Department said in a release.

The mission of the Space Superiority Directorate is to develop, deliver, and sustain unrivaled space control capabilities to guarantee space superiority for the United States, according to the Los Angeles Air Force Base website.

Specific services include modernization planning, acquisition intelligence, systems engineering, technical acquisition, technical baseline management and test and evaluation.

Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to be completed in May 2020.

Three companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said.
