Alion Science and Technology has won a $192 million contract to support the Naval Sea Systems Command.

Alion Science and Technology has won a $192 million contract to support the Naval Sea Systems Command.

The contract was awarded under the Navy’s SeaPort-e contracting vehicle.

Under the contract, Alion will provide technical, program, business and financial management support to the command’s Deputy Commander for Surface Warfare.

The company will also support training systems that will familiarize crews with systems throughout each ship, the company said.

The company just announced that it was going public to pay down debt.
