Agencies could see budget cuts in 2017

Agencies are being asked for more cuts in 2017, according to guidance agencies are getting from OMB.

Budget cuts could affect federal agencies again in 2017, according to Federal Times.

The Office of Management and Budget released a budget guidance that said that agencies could see as much as a five percent budget cut in 2017 from what their discretionary budgets in 2016 are.

In addition to the cuts, agencies will have to strive after priorities, including data-driven management reviews, reducing real property footprint and enhancing or moving to shared services, Federal Times reported.
