Small biz wins $19.8M contract to support Navy submarines

Systems Engineering Associates Corp. has won a $19.8 million sole-sourced contract to provide the Navy with engineering services in support of the Extensible Markup Language Test Data Analysis Tool (XTDAS) used on all Navy submarines.

Systems Engineering Associates Corp. has won a $19.8 million sole-sourced contract to provide the Navy with engineering services in support of the Extensible Markup Language Test Data Analysis Tool (XTDAS) used on all Navy submarines.

The XDTAS tool provides a portable, adaptable, and cost effective means for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and validating the required combat system data, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at a number of locations within the United States and is expected to wrap up in May 2020.
