CACI wins $34M contract to help combat IEDs

CACI International has won a $34 million contract to support the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO).

CACI International has won a $34 million contract to support the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO).

JIEDDO leads Defense Department efforts to counter improvised explosive devices by attacking the network, defeating the device and training the force.

Under the contract, CACI will provide deployed personnel to conduct operations research and systems analysis and will also supply non-deployed operations research and systems analysis and geospatial analysis support to enable JIEDDO to make informed decisions on how to minimize IED impact, the company said in a release.
