Northrop Grumman taps new sector VP of Combat Avionics Systems

Northrop Grumman has named Robert Gough vice president of Combat Avionics Systems business unit within its Electronic Systems sector.

Northrop Grumman has named Robert Gough vice president of Combat Avionics Systems business unit within its Electronic Systems sector.

In his new role, Gough will be responsible for the sector’s combat avionics portfolio, including radars for the F-16, F-22A, F-35 Lightning II, and other aircraft and avionic sensor systems, the company said in a release.

He was most recently director of operations in Northrop’s Information Systems Communications division. He joined the company in 1986.

Gough holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College.
