Progeny Systems Corp. has won a $40.7 million sole source contract to support the Navy’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center Test Program.

Progeny Systems Corp. has won a $40.7 million sole source contract to support the Navy’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center Test Program.

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center is a shore command of the Navy that engineers, builds and supports the country’s fleet of ships and combat systems, according to the Navy’s website.

Under the contract, Progeny will provide Data Analysis Reporting Tool Set (DARTS) engineering services to collect and analyze platforms, the non-propulsion electronics system and C3I data for the test program.

This contract continues the application of automated testing system technology to support the test program, and under the contract, Progeny Systems will tailor the DARTS services to the needs of the individual test event as well as establish and manage a DARTS test database, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., Manassas, Va., Port Canaveral, Fla., Washington, D.C., West Palm Beach, Fla., Newport, R.I., and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed in April 2020.
