Northrop Grumman names new undersea systems VP

Northrop Grumman has named Alan Lytle vice president of the company’s undersea systems business.

Northrop Grumman has named Alan Lytle vice president of the company’s undersea systems business.

In his new role, Lytle will be responsible for all business programs and products related to undersea capabilities including submarine sensors, unmanned maritime systems, minehunting systems and torpedos, the company said in a release.

Joining Northrop Grumman in 2010, Lytle was most recently director, business development and strategy, undersea systems. Before joining Northrop, Lytle worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Undersea systems is part of Northrop Grumman’s Electronic Systems sector.
