IT jobs on the rise

Information technology jobs have grown by 4.5 percent over the past year, according to a report from TechServe Alliance.

For the month of February, the uptick in IT-related jobs was 0.4 percent, with the number of jobs reaching almost 4.9 million.

Engineering job growth grew by 0.2 percent to 2.5 million jobs in February. Engineering jobs have grown 1.5 percent since February 2014.
