iNovex makes analytics play with Mercury acquisition

iNovex Information Systems has made a play to increase its analytics and intelligence work with the acquisition of Mercury Intelligence Systems.

iNovex Information Systems Inc., a small Hanover, Md., government contractor, has acquired the intelligence business of Mercury Systems Inc.

Mercury has sold its subsidiary, Mercury Intelligence Systems Inc., to iNovex for an undisclosed amount, according to announcement by BB&T Capital/Windsor Group, which was an advisor to Mercury.

iNovex is picking up capabilities in key areas such as a predictive analytics, cloud infrastructure, and analytical, software and intelligence programs. The transaction also increases iNovex’s presence in the Denver area where Mercury Intelligence Systems is based. The area is home to several military installations.

With the closing of the deal, Mercury Intelligence Systems will change its name to iNapogee Information Systems.
