Leidos wins $46M contract for mission support services

Leidos has won a $46 million contract to provide mission support services to the Army’s Communications-Electronic Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC).

Leidos has won a $46 million contract to provide mission support services to the Army’s Communications-Electronic Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC).

CERDEC gives the soldier better situational awareness and understanding, establishes and secures communications and protects the solider from surprise attack, Leidos said in a release.

Under the contract, Leidos will support CERDEC’s Prototyping Integration and Testing Directorate, which provides engineering design, consultation and expert support services for C4ISR platform systems.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide research and development, engineering, design, purchasing, fabrication, integration, testing, logistics support and shipping related to the integration of mission equipment, the company said.
