Northrop Grumman taps new VP, CFO of ESS organization

Northrop Grumman has named Heather Crofford vice president and chief financial officer for the company’s Enterprise Shared Services organization, effective March 9.

Northrop Grumman has named Heather Crofford vice president and chief financial officer for the company’s Enterprise Shared Services organization, effective March 9.

She replaces Donald McHugh who has been appointed vice president, business operations director and controller of one of the company’s joint ventures, National Security Technologies LLC.

In her new role, Crofford will lead all ESS business management activities and will be a member of the Corporate CFO Council, the company said in a release.

She joined Northrop Grumman as director of business management for the company’s Cyber division within the company’s Information Systems sector. Before Northrop, she spent 12 years at Boeing.

Crofford holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
