Leidos names new SVP of sales, strategic accounts for health business

Leidos has named Steven Russell senior vice president for sales and strategic accounts of Leidos Health.

In his new role, Russell will be responsible for the sales and account management teams and will help drive business development opportunities for hospitals and heath teams, Leidos said in a release.

Before joining Leidos, Russell worked at Quantos Corp. as senior vice president of corporate development. He has also held positions at Cerner, Aperio Technologies, Quadramed, HealthScribe and Compucare.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
