Siemens Government Technologies names new SVP, COO

Siemens Government Technologies has named Barbara Humpton senior vice president and chief operating officer.

In her new role, Humpton will be responsible for ensuring that the company has the best processes with its operations from identifying business opportunities to winning new work, the company said in a release.

She joined Siemens in 2011 as senior vice president of business development. Before joining Siemens, she held positions at Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen Hamilton.
