CACI International has won a $149 million contract to support the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization’s (JIEDDO) Special Operations Forces, Support Team.

CACI International has won a $149 million contract to support the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization’s (JIEDDO) Special Operations Forces, Support Team.

The Special Operations Forces, Support Team supports JIEDDO's Attack the Network mission, enabling special operations units performing a variety of activities to disrupt and defeat extremist networks that use or facilitate the use of improvised explosive devices, CACI said in a release.

CACI will provide operations/intelligence integration teams that will work with their government counterparts to help understand extremist networks, identify their vulnerabilities and employ a range of solutions to defeat them, the company said.
