HP Enterprise Services has won a $50 million contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to continue to support its Medicaid system.

HP Enterprise Services has won a $50 million contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to continue to support its Medicaid system.

This contract extends a relationship between HP and Massachusetts that began in 2005 with the implementation of HP interChange Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), which replaced the commonwealth’s legacy Medicaid system, HP said in a release.

Under this new, five-year contract extension, the company will continue to maintain the MMIS system and provide system upgrades to equip Massachusetts with the tools it needs to take on the transformation of health care, the company said.
